First Aid for the Outdoors 16hrs

Ideal for outdoor leaders

Our 16-Hour Outdoor First Aid (Level 3) course is specifically designed for those who work or spend significant time in outdoor, remote, or wilderness environments. Whether you’re a group leader, expedition guide, instructor, or outdoor enthusiast, this nationally recognised qualification provides essential first aid skills tailored to settings where emergency services may be delayed. The course meets the requirements of national governing bodies for outdoor activities and is widely accepted across the UK outdoor sector.

Equipping you to guide others through the outdoors.
Unlike standard workplace first aid, outdoor first aid focuses on managing incidents in challenging terrain, with limited equipment and prolonged casualty care. You’ll learn how to assess and treat injuries and medical emergencies in real-world scenarios, with an emphasis on practical, hands-on training. From managing broken limbs on hiking trails to dealing with hypothermia or allergic reactions far from help, this course prepares you to respond confidently and effectively when every minute counts.
