Description

Emergency First Aid at Work plus Forestry –  EFAW+F

Designed for forestry workers, land managers, tree surgeons, contractors, game keepers and anyone working in woodland, rural, or remote outdoor environments.

This practical, hands-on Emergency First Aid at Work course equips learners with essential life-saving skills for forestry and rural settings, where hazards are high and emergency services may be some distance away. You’ll learn how to manage traumatic injuries, medical emergencies, and incidents involving chainsaws, machinery, falling timber, vehicles, and difficult terrain.

Tailored to the unique risks of forestry and countryside work, this training ensures fast, effective responses when minutes matter most. Fully HSE-compliant and delivered by highly experienced instructors with real-world emergency and outdoor operational backgrounds.

This accredited one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course is ideal where your risk assessment and first aid needs assessment identify the requirement for an emergency first aider in forestry or rural operations. This Level 3 qualification is specifically designed for those working in forestry and land-based industries, providing essential first aid skills adapted to outdoor, remote, and high-risk working environments.
