It focuses on real world scenarios, helping you protect patients and meet professional obligations with confidence.

This training provides essential life saving techniques adapted specifically for dental environments, including:
- Infection control and safe working practices
- Patient assessment and early emergency recognition
- Safe positioning of an unconscious casualty

- Managing airway obstruction (choking)
Medical Emergencies in Dental Practice

Defibrillator & Oxygen Training
You’ll learn how to confidently use a defibrillator (AED), a vital skill as these devices become more widespread in both workplaces and public areas. Early defibrillation can dramatically improve survival outcomes in cardiac arrest cases.
Accreditation & Compliance
This first aid course meets the latest UK and European resuscitation guidelines and aligns with industry requirements for dental professionals. It also includes a recognised CPD certificate, supporting compliance with General Dental Council (GDC) expectations and ongoing professional development.
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training is a core component, reflecting the increasing availability of defibrillators in dental practices and public spaces. With minimal training, AEDs are simple to operate and significantly improve survival rates in cardiac arrest situations.
Fully compliant with the latest UK Resuscitation Council and European Resuscitation Council (ERC) guidelines, this course meets the required standards for dental professionals. It also includes a Certified CPD statement aligned with General Dental Council (GDC) guidelines, supporting ongoing professional development and regulatory compliance.
