High Ropes First Responders

Ropes access team are now First Responders

DAC Education Ltd is now working with a national construction company that specialise in high level ropes access. Delivering First Responder courses to their site teams. 


Can Structures and Can Geotechnical are an industry leading organisation providing access solutions to difficult and complex work environments and overcome challenging scenarios. The company has worked on railways, bridges, motorways and rock faces all over the country. 


They are now taking a lead of up skilling their staff to a higher level of First Aid training. Can Ltd are working with DAC Education Ltd to provide the First Responder On Scene (FROS) Level 3 to their site teams.

The course goes beyond the better known First Aid at Work courses and provides learners with the training to be a first responder. With the skills, knowledge and understanding to provide the appropriate care to a casualty in a time critical emergency, prior to the arrival of the emergency services. 


The FROS course is underwritten by Futurequals and is nationally recognise course. Similar to the FREC3 course. This qualification is category D on the Faculty of Pre-Hospital care, Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine Skills framework. Other example professions that this use this course are Fire & Rescue, Police, Military, RNLI, Lowland Rescue, and security staff. All who may need to provide rapid response to immediate life threatening medical emergencies. 


DAC Education is looking forward to delivering more First Responder courses to Can Ltd in 2022.
